DÉ DÉ COMPUTER MOUSE’s Hot Take
“Imagine this: a coming-of-age drama set in the apocalypse, dubbed ‘Shinkatsushika!’ It follows teens with emotional baggage heavier than a shopping cart full of bricks.
I’m ecstatic that our world is about to get bombarded with this glorious chaos—bring on the meteorites! Composing the soundtrack for *Mebius Dirt* is a whirlwind I wouldn’t trade for all the chocolate in the world!
In just one month, I churned out 55 tracks! Yep, you read that right—55 tracks faster than a squirrel on espresso! Each melody captures the characters’ deepest secrets as I interpreted them through my own musical lens. If you can’t feel my heart pounding through every note, then I must be doing something wrong!”
DÉ DÉ COMPUTER MOUSE: The Legend
Welcome to the outrageously imaginative realm of Daisuke Endo—aka DÉ DÉ MOUSE—your ultimate music wizard armed with a keyboard and an arsenal of creativity. He’s like the Swiss Army knife of tunes!
He burst onto the scene in 2007 with “Trend of Stars,” and boy, did he rock the boat! Those “melody cut-up” tracks he unleashed had people losing their minds—no marketing gimmicks required! It was pure magic, but better!
Since then, he’s been tearing up stages like Fuji Rock and taicoclub, mixing synthy vibes with live-band punch that has people grooving from Japan all the way to what we like to call “normal” festival locations like the UK and the US!
From anthems like 2008’s Japanese vaporwave hit “Sunset Ladies” to the audacious “A Journey to Freedom” in 2010 featuring FFT designer Akihiko Yoshida, this guy is on a creative roll, serving banger after banger with a sprinkle of that magical madness he’s famous for.
